Here's the chart from baseline 91 to final E85 map

Alright guys. I had been on the Cobb OTS 91 map for a year and decided it was time to get a good tune from my man Harvey. Car was tuned on the Dyno Dynamics at Super Rupair in Boulder using a 1.15 correction factor in 4th gear. She initially put down 244whp and 255wtq on Cobb's map and was already running with 17 psi. Harvey pulled that up to 259whp and 272wtq on 91 octane without changing boost. Final numbers on E85 were 279whp and 308wtq. . I'm really happy with the gains and hope to run some good numbers at the track real soon.

Nice car and some decent power there. But damn, temperature + altitude is a killer for small turbo's.

Altitude is a bummer, and better numbers could have been put down with cooler temps, but tuning in the heat does allow for a safe tune. My net gain is more important to me than a final number. The car was also incredibly consistent from pull to pull.

Good numbers! For reference I dyno'd at Super Rupair a couple months ago (VF52, self-road-tune 90% done, was there for an axle shaft leak fix) and put down 285whp/316tq. I took it to Bandimere (5860') and pulled a 12.96@107.2mph. The conversion to sea level via dragtimes for exact density altitude put the sea level run at 12.4@111.6mph. You ought to run about the same, maybe better since my car is a little porkier LGT. Your power curves look similar to mine... fun torquey street-friendly stuff!

yea, i've seen your chart on pirates. before the tune, i was only running a 13.6 at bandi, but i was also taking the car all the way to redline, which i think was hurting me. i ran at sea level driving the same way and clocked a 12.9 @ 105.9. hopefully, next wednesday with a bit more power and revised technique i can go grab me a 12 at altitude.

i don't have an AFR overlay on these charts. boost was only increased by a small increment for the final E85 map. Harvey didn't really focus on turning up the boost as much as fuel mapping and timing adjustments. we had 15whp gains on E85 before we started messing with it.

oh and Thanks Jordan, the car feels great.

FYI I shift out of 1st at 6500, out of 2nd at 6300, and out of 3rd at 6000rpms. No sense taking a VF turbo to redline. That's too far out of the low-mid range forte of the turbo.

I will give that a shot. this time i've got LC and FFS. never used it before. i usually cut a high 1.6 to low 1.7 second 60' without it. maybe i'll just be able to be more consistent with it. we'll see what i can do wednesday.

Nice numbers. I deal with altitude and a small turbo as well 4400' is my house.... E85 makes up for quite a bit, but not enough
