I live in Easton and took my car to Cleo @ precision tuning which is about a 1-1/2 to 2 hour drive!!! Well worth it!!! $450

Maybe check out area1320 which is in easton because they talk about a service to find out what your car is putting down with a near by dyno so maybe they have a tuner!!!

You're looking for a tune "at a really good place" and not willing to drive an hour?

You could always have the car towed to the tuning location if you are that worried... do you have a lot of mods currently?

A few of the best and closest tuners in the Lehigh Valley area are :

Ray @ Turbotek, PA
Cleo @ Precision Tuning, NJ
Andy @ Verocious, DE

There is a shop with a Dyno in Easton and I think this is who Area1320 is taking about but no idea who is doing the tuning...?? Ryan is very helpful so just give him a call see what it is all about...

You may also want to check with the guys at Phoenix Performance / Phoenix Auto in Palm, PA...

I had a good results with Andy @ Verocious Motorsports:

Good Luck!

I have heard tons of great things about ray at turbotek and once i go stage 2 i will prob take mine there to get tuned.
Just stay out of boost and take some fun backroads.

I know quite a few people who've driven farther than that for a tune - the tuner usually sends them a basemap to get them there.

What mods are you looking to get tuned for?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but does anyone know where to get a good reliable tune in NJ/NYC area?

He runs out of "car optics" garage, but email him (ray@turbotektuning.com) and he usually responds with decent timing and leaves his number as a footnote. He's a pretty busy guy but well worth whatever it takes to get in touch with him. Your car will be a whole 'nother animal if you go to him.

its looking like i will go to him. Everyones saying hes the best one in the area. As long as he doesn't tune it that it'll blow the motor down the road. I fear that lol.

your car is basically stock and you have little to worry about as far as blowing the car up. Ray is a stand up guy and I can vouch for him on that, He will probably tune your car pretty conservative so you will be safe incase you get a bad batch of gas or other variables.

Im assuming its your daily driver?

i might have a buddy tow it for me last resort...he has a flatbed. I'll give him gas $$$. But who knows. I won't be installing the DP for a few weeks as i need to save for the tune.

I made up my mind. I'll be taking it to Ray @ TurboTek

It's only stage 2, I'd just stay out of boost down there. I mean it's probably not the best for the vehicle and towing is ideal, but everyone I know from the north east has driven down to ray just babying the car. If you have a tactrix cable he could send you a basemap to flash also.

I don't have a cable. I have to talk to my buddy about flatbedding it for me. I know he wouldn't care if i gave him gas money. He's awesome. If not, i'll just drive no faster than 55 on the highways.

Pretty much just don't hit boost is the rule of thumb. The only time I would flatbed my car is if I got a new turbo with new injectors, but I have a cable so I can use basemaps, but just stage 2 you'll be fine. There are people running around untuned for months with a catless downpipe and who knows what else. But if you want to flatbed it go for it. Have a chat with ray, he will set you straight. I think he's on vacation right now though IIRC.
