Default Kelly Subaru is no good

I live in Tallahassee (FSU) and first of all Kelly subaru wants $25500 for both of thier two silver with spoiler/mirror/security true that is a little high but here is the kicker.

I went to test drive and was going somewhat cautious, then the guy that worked there was like "watch how we drive them all the time," redline the whole time, donuts, slamming on breaks from 110mph ran the PISS out of it.

Come to find out that the two they have one has 400+ test drive miles and the other has 700+ miles!!!

Watch out for these guys.

It's unfortunate that Tallahassee's Kelly Subaru has been pretty much in disarray ever since I've owned my Subaru (bought mine March '02). It used to be called Seminole Subaru actually. Their sales volume is weak and Mr. Kelly himself isn't the best owner/manager IMO. There have been four service managers and three parts managers since '02 and every time I finally build up some good rapport with them, Mr. Kelly runs them out.

I only go there to buy parts if it's an el cheapo part that winds up being more after shipping from other more reputable dealers on nasioc. I bought an IACV gasket for $7.50 when I could've gotten it shipped for $4.50 from another dealer on here. I'm dreading taking my '02 WRX in for its 105K timing belt change. I've done all of the other maintenance things with my brother's help, but the timing belt I'm going to use my Subie bucks on. Hope they don't kill the car. I've got too many horrible stories to tell about them. I took my car to Jacksonville to get tranny work done cause they treated me like dirt here

glad i found this thread
i just moved to to tallahassee recently (FAMU) well i needed a bolt for the car, this is a pinch bolt for the control arm to the hub, without it the car is undriveable so i decided jsut to go to the dealer and get one ( i figured they had to order it) which was no problem. so i went and there and talked to the parts guy he was cool at first said hey I know what bolt you need you dont have to pay now because i know your running late from class. he said itll be there in a week and hell call me. a week passes no call. i call leave a messege. than another week this goes on for 3 weeks he never calls me back. i finally go there and say im not leaving till i getr a recpeit for the order. the reason he didnt order the bolt the first time was because he wasnt sure about the bolt. I asked him why didnt he call me about three weeks ago and he said he just forgot.

kelly subaru is a joke and i mean i wouldnt have minded but i had to ride a bike through frenchtown everyday to get back to my house. thats the fastest i have ever ridden bike

You guys are right, Kelly blows...Every time I go in there is some kind of hassle. "Your car don't have a PCV valve, it aint like a small block Chevy." Recently the parts guy quit, I was there 20 minutes trying to get a fuse block decal. They couldn't figure it out, so I contacted a vendor through NASIOC. I wish we had a Real Dealership....
