Thumbs down No respect thread

You know what really chaps my a$$? People who do not respect others cars.
I appreciate someone who admires my car, but i dont appreciate them touching it. When i was at conti tonight, talking to mike, some guy went up and touched my new grill and was lookin at the car (not the dude who hooked me up with the license plate screw). I'm sorry, but no matter how much i like or dislike someones ride, i never touch it.

Another thing that makes me irrate is people who park so damn close to you that you cant open your door. and then they throw their door open. I already had "dentdude" hook me up. my car isnt even 4 months old. Anyway, i wanted to vent. thank you for giving me this opportunity.

I want to hear your stories of disrespectful admirers or critisizers.

oh, he's seen me pretty angry, not sure if he's seen me actually in confrontation like that though. I'm told it's scary. I don't back down and I don't let people intimidate me... maybe it's the whole small man (person) complex, but I did have 2 older brothers growing up who whipped me into shape. They taught me to stand up to bully's and other people, and after a few years taking martial arts, learn to use the other person's size to my advantage. Now, i'm getting a bit older, so don't think I heal up as quickly, and certainly can't take punches like I used to (been quite some time).

MUNI Snow Plow backed out of a side street right in from of my wife and she slid into the side of the plow. (YES, Thank you she is fine and no the van is not). The other plow guys told the cop that the MUNI Driver had been sitting there (across both lanes of Klatt?!?!?!) and my wife just drove into the side of him (like she wouldn't notice a 25ft long/10ft high grader sitting there)... now they are trying to put in on her.

That about covers it... it makes me even more steamed that the city council voted to give a bunch of city unions raises (before their contracts were even up for renewal) and for 5 years... Yeah, let's not make anyone "EARN" there money and expect them to be "RESPONSIBLE" for their mistakes at work.

The worst part is this happened 10 hours ago and I'm still really PISSED about this...

RALPH SMASH!!

For real though, sorry to hear that Ralph. Thats horse crap, and you know the DPW workers are going to stick together, redhanded or not. I hope your wife doesn't end up getting the unhappy ending, but this is the real world, and they are going to treat this like a case of "Well if you weren't there, there wouldn't have been an accident." I don't agree with it, but I know how these things go, so get prepped for court and I hope you took LOTS of pics. GL

Yes, "excessive speed for conditions" however, this is based on testimony of two "MUNI" witnesses that had left the scene and then returned to speak with the cop.

I have spoken with a friend who is an attorney specializing in this area and she said we need to fight the ticket because 1.) the witnesses would have to show up in court and 2.) the fact that they left and returned to the scene their testimonies are questionable.

John Pharr does a lot of traffic citations. Insurance may assign their own "guilt" their investigation may be helpful if you fight the ticket, which I think you should.

Update: Looks like the van may have gotten frame damage (looks like totaled)... though they may just not want to fix a 9 year old van.

More to come...

I haven't been in an ATT store since the changeover and I really don't plan on it. I auto pay my bill and go to HI-Speed Solutions when I need a new phone or acc. I WILL NOT go into a store

LOL, 2 months ago my wife backed my RS of our garage and backed into a guys truck and broke a tail light and bumper. And she was mad at the guy for parking in a no parking spot. The funny thing is my friend was in the car and said she wasn't even looking behind her. LOL, and for a week while the car as getting fix she blamed the other guy(who by the way wasn't even in his truck). I love women and the logic they come up with.

ok well where to begin....i get over to the AT&T store in the Dimond center , there was a line which i figure was going to happen, so i walk in and see you need to sign in to be helped, ok so i flip the full first page and sign in on the empty second page, anyhow after waiting for about 45-50 minutes this guy walks in to wait as well, well after 15 minutes he figured out he needed to sign in, he see's that the first page was full and flips to the second page(where i'm at the top of the list), notices that it's already half full, do you think he put his name down on the second page.....**** no he didn't, this **** brick flips back to the first page and writes his name down a couple of spaces under the last spot on the first page.
5 minutes later his name gets called and he just strolls up to the counter to be helped, well needless to say the staff got a earfull not just from myself but from a few others that had been waiting nearly aslong as myself, but what pissed me off was that fact that this guy didn't even have the ****ing balls to admit he jumped the line, i wanted to stomp a mudhole in this guy.....it gets better...
ok another employee gets done working with his customer so i figure its my turn to get help, yeah i was wrong there as well, he goes over TO THE LIST and calls this very attractive girl names 3 ****ing spaces down from mine, at this point i'm ready to spit nails, so at this point when the i finally get helped is when i let loose on the staff for this kind of poor ass customer service....sorry such a long rant
