Default E3 sparkplugs

Has anyone else tried these? I just installed them on my 2.5i(thanks again Rob!) and was wondering if the reports of better gas mileage at least are true. I have yet to burn a complete tank of gas through since installing them and I do plan on reporting my own anecdotal(sp?) findings. One surprising side effect was completely seat-of-the-pants. It did seem to have better throttle response and a more pronounced kick around 4k rpms. If they do save any gas at all I'm getting them for my Wife's Hyundai which uses the exact same model of E3 if I did my research right. Fastest plug swap I've ever done-no gapping required! By the way my car has a little over 25k miles on it and the stock NGKs looked great.

yeah lmk what you get...I'm still thinking it i will clear things up and burn a lot more of the fuel, leaving less raw making it past. Don't really expect more than 2-4 mpg highway though and it may not last.

what were you at for mpgs?

I'll average out what I have when I get the chance but the better highway figures are around 24mpg I think.

Snake oil...Add a little marvel mystery oil as well this should pick up another 20hp. Don't forget the HHO generator.

If these things do help your car then you had problems to begin with...Sorry just my 2 cents. Current spark plugs do a fine job if they are gapped to spec and the coils are good.

These have potential to help in turbo cars since they will be MUCH less prone to spark blow out under high boost. These actually do something...

Thought about the pulstars but the buy-in price would negate any real savings for quite some time. If they work great,if not thats ok too so long as they do not decrease performance or milage.

Spark blow out is a problem for bigger turbo high boost cars. These plugs help that alot. I doubt they do much for gas milage in the end.

They are more than just spark plugs, they actually have some electronic components in them to build a stronger spark. Sort of like an MSD ignition box built in to the plug.

Run less boost and a smaller turbo. No blow out. No problem. I'm sure the difference,if any wouldn't be much in my little N/A motor using the pulstars. I will keep up the posts as the data from my milages comes in. By the way my stock plugs came out looking good so I'm fairly sure my engine was running fine-I was merely curious as to the claims made by the E3s,especially increased milage. Couldn't hurt.
