Default Better gas mileage with Unichip stage 2?

I used to get about 280 miles before I had to get the car filled up, but 2 months after the Unichip install I'm getting about 330 total miles now. Anyone else experience this? Or is my car just going crazy?

I'm receiving 2 to 4mpg better gas mileage before I had my Unichip tuned.

This is especially true if you have your car specially tune to your mods on a dyno.
The WRX runs really rich with stock ecu and without a unchip.
After installing the unichip with proper fuel mapping and leaning it out at certain ranges. You'll likely experience better gas mileages.

Hey more power and better gas mileage... who wouldn't like that.

I would bet that the reason for better MPG is that the weather is warmer=thinner oil=less resistance. Also in my car with a unichip, the winter gas caused alot timing to be pulled, people are explaining it as hesitation/stumbling/not smooth, etc. Now that its alittle warmer here the anoying problem is gone.....

I have experienced this too. Isnt it great ?? More power and better gas mileage. I noticed when after an hour of hard driving, The needl barely even moved, when I would have already drank close to a 1/4.
