Default lug nuts

I am about to put some 2003 wrx wheels that i painted gold onto my 2008 impreza and i want some black lugs. I cant seem to find them with the flat bottom that is needed for the stock wheels, my question is, would running a tappered bottom lug effect anything?

This. The stock wheels use a tapered jug. They are NOT flat.
