Default Looking into HID's for my truck, but will it be safe?

Hi everyone - just had a quick question. I have been looking into HID's for my truck - it is a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder.

The headlight bulbs are 9003 and the fog lights are H3. I was just wondering if they will be safe, will they be way to bright/cause a fire? I just want some HID's that are bright and safe.

I was looking at getting this kit, here.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tab%3DWatching

Any help/guidance is greatly appreciated!!

I have 2 sets from this site. a 35W kit for my r6 and 55W set for my car. no problems yet.

edit: plus they are slim ballasts and the 55W's are lifetime guaranteed

You first need to find out if they are legal in your state, I know in my home state you cannot do it due to glare from not being "sighted" in, then move to the correct forum and get your answers...

Damn. I paid more than that for my halogen foglight bulbs. Don't go anywhere near that.

Hey, but how do I know a 35 Watt kit won't fry my wiring harness?

If his car didn't come equipped with HIDs from the factory then it's illegal no matter what he picks or where he lives.

This is a Subaru forum, and Subaru does not yet make a 'Pathfinder'
