Talking Guy at Costco!

I ran into a fellow Subaru owner at Costco today! The had a nice blue WRX Sedan. I told him about the I-club and our little car group and he liked the idea of it. We talked for a bit about his car and what we all do to our cars. He seems to be looking for a new exhaust to give it a bit more power...

I think I saw the same car on Debarr. Did it have Gray Superleggera's or P1's? I was wondering who that was

Also saw a Silver WRX Sedan out here in Eagle River by Walmart...

I hope he didn't just consider an exaust with considering turning up the boost too. I can't understand people who think that a cat back alone will give them any significant HP gain. Just a boost controller alone will give them more and for a lot cheaper. But that's only if they know little about the cars performance in the first place. But anyway, now i'm just rambling.... I'm such a post whore .

I am the Costco guy. No, I really don't know a lot about boosting the wrx performance but I want to put a bit more pep into it. Truly a fun car to drive. For my wallet's sake I installed at radar detector and it has already paid off. The car is great for runs to my cabin on the Kenai. Going over turnagain pass is a gas. I was thinking about putting a trailer hitch on it, but figured I just use the old Burb. Let me know when you have a get together.

I am putting a hitch on my WRX, but if I had another car to tow with then I would probably use that. But all I tow is my jet-ski, so it does not weigh that much.

Well its good to see another member on the board, and let me or Winslow know what kind of exhaust you are looking for and we will see what we can do for you.

Later....Kris

Welcome, to the board. It's nice to see lurkers finally appear.

Towing with the WRX, hahaha. Just watch the EGTs, if you have a gauge.

Well you better get me that EGT gauge.

Not too worried about towing a 500 lb jet-ski to Wasilla. Just having two big people in the back seat is the same thing as that.
