i think there is one for the regular key less entry and a different one for the ones with the theft recovery system

If I'm not mistaken the remote fob changed in 2005. I'm fairly certain there's not a difference between the regular keyless entry and the anti theft keyless since mine reads "unlock/disarm" and "lock/arm/panic".

Anyone know where I can get the keyless entry box and fob cheap?

Apparently, my Baja came equip with it (dealer checked the VIN) but the unscrupulous non-Subaru dealer that I bought my Baja from ripped it out and put in "their" keyless entry/alarm system in.

When I was haggling over price when I was buying my Baja I saw they were charging what I thought was an excessive price for their system. I told them either drop the price, or take it out. They eventually took out their system and left me with nothing (although I was able to get them to get me the Subaru trailer hitch for free).
