How wide are the wheels?

255's will fit in the fenders with a little roll, but probably not on your wheels.

A 225 would fit a 7.5 fairly square and a 235 would sit square on an 8, so if you don't mind a little buldge you can up the size one-225 on a 7, 235 on 7.5, 245 on 8...

^^thanks^^

If the wheels are a 17x7, I'd run 225/45/17 at the widest and tallest. Any wider I think would sacrafice too much steering feel. Your car looks reasonably low in the picture as well, so I don't know that I would go too tall either.

Nice bugeye by the way.

235/45/17 is pushing it on a 7.0" rim, really should be 7.5" at minimum. Generally 30% is max for 45 sidewall and 235 on a 7.0" is 32.2%. Not too far over but it's not ideal.

+1 and also depending on the tire, you could actually be a lot better off with a sticker 215 vs. the 225. Tires being even, I prefer response and precision over ultimate grip.

Haha. Thanks man! I was just thinking about maybe going wider. I dont really need too tho. Im so satisfied with the car. It has sti struts with tein s tech springs. It handles like a dream, no body roll what so ever. Only thing i really need now is some sti sways and some nice tires!
