Default Arizonian Elite

So I am getting new tires for my stock wheels. I went into discount tire b/c their service is awesome here in springfield and will take care of everything for the life of the tires.

I was leaning towards the Goodrich Super Sport A/W but went in and talked to a guy there and he suggested the Arizonian Elite. It is a tire made my Goodrich specifically for Discount Tire. Anyone know anything about these b/c I can't find any info on them...

It's an H rated knock-off touring tire. It's like he's recommending to you a pair of knock-off penny loafers to use as basketball shoes. Go to some other shop that won't treat you like an idiot.

Oh, and tell him you want 225/50/16, not 205/55/16.

Thanks for the info/suggestion

I think I am going to go w/ the goodrich g-force ss a/s the more I am reading about them. The "loudness" of them is a non factor for me plus goodrich has a 70 dollar rebate going

ya ever drove a 4x4 with serious mudder tires on it on pavement????

THAT is what you will get

and unless your alignment is spot on with '0' toe...it will happen sooner rather than later

do you have a suggestion in that price range then that is comparable to the gforces. And you are talking about the all season right and not the sport l/w??

do you plan on using these in snow???

if so...get real winter tires and NOT as tires

all season tires are really NO SEASON tires and just all around suck

if you NEED winter tires, then you likely need 2 sets...summer and winter and NOT AS tires

the BFG's are good A/S tires but I agree no A/S is really a good choice to begin with. If money is real tight though, the BFG are a good choice.

I am selling my summer wheels/tires b/c they wont work w/ the h-techs. I want to just use my stock wheels w/ a tire for all the time. I have different priorities now instead of upkeep two sets of wheels/tires...
