You mean this gold thing on the left side?

You should be able to order it from any dealership. Although, I don't think it is the same diameter as the oil drain plug. I believe it is a bit wider.

Last night, I successfully modified my extra oil drain plug to fit a AN -8 fitting. It is looking good coz now I can use SS braided lines for the job. No need to buy that gold thing on the Forester. and you're right, it looks too big for the job anyway.

Now all I need is a 5/8" "Tee" for the return line to tee into the heater core return line. This setup should eliminate any worries of the heater core shut off valve. Thanks!
