Default Cooper Zeon 2XS?

Anyone have anything good to say about these tires? How do they stack up against other performance tires? I noticed tirerack doesn't carry them.

Here's a link:

I ask because I'm looking at some used STis and one of them that I saw comes with these tires. Since I hadn't heard of the brand, I was wondering if anybody had some feedback on them. Thanks in advance!

It will not kill you but Cooper is not top manufacturer. Even Koreans make better tires (but probably not Chinese).

Tire rack carries Cooper made tires. They are called Avon.

Sorry but there is a bit of fail quoted here. There is some excellent Korean tires on the market these days.

Cooper has been around since the 40's and even helped Allied forces win WW2 by manufacturing all kinds of needed equipment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooper_...Rubber_Company

They aren't a bad company. They just aren't known in the tuner market like Falken is or Toyo. That being said the tire you posted is a standard street tire and you aren't going to see a great performance benefit for it, but it would work just fine for the ins and outs of the daily grind. Unless you are into street racing or touge battles... then it will not work well for you

I'm am sure there are similar priced tires on the market with better performance. Do a bit of research so you get your best bang for buck.
