the crown royal shift boot is sick!
And to the gun picture, i second trimming the grip, that could be dangerous. And a holster in the glove box or under the seat works well too

I have some switches hidden in my shift boot. One of them turns off my v1. The other turns off the back lights in my gauges.

About as stealth as it gets.

And here's a little writeup: http://www.cgbagne.com/wrx/?p=280

I made a splitter a while back. I now have a DIY boost sensitive sprayer hooked up to it, too.

Do you have a template of that? I don't want to order one for my bugeye, I'd rather make one. Or how did you go about this, also what material did you use?

That's aluminum, I think .050" thick. You make one with lots of cutting, drilling, bending, and riveting.

Here's more info on it: http://www.cgbagne.com/wrx/?p=327

I don't have a template. I just took some measurements and drew what I wanted onto a sheet of aluminum. Then with a saber saw and a dremel, I cut it all out. The whole thing is held together with rivets. Someonewhoisntme is right, it's .05" aluminum. If I were to do it over, I'd use something a bit thinner. It would save weight, and be easier to work with.

I saw the first pic and was thinking well that doesn't make sense why would you want them so hidden but the second pic wins me over. That IS awesome, good thinkin

If you don't already have one, get the Harbor Freight rivet gun. It's really nice for $4. Also, if you screw it up, it's not a big deal. You'd just be down $10 because that's about what a sheet of aluminum should cost.

Just a warming, though. If you've never done anything like this before, and maybe even if you have, it'll take a lot of time to get it right. You may be better off just buying a used STi splitter.
