Working fine, no problems. I installed this OEM 5-speed transmission after losing 3rd on my 02 stocker but shortly after installing this transmission, the engine shat a piston. I figured since the engine was out getting built I might as well upgrade the tranny and found a PPG setup so I don't need this one anymore.
Again, no problems, everything worked/shifts fine and I only used it for 15k miles. I think its an 04 but I'll have to ask the guy I bought it from, and FYI he sold it to me because he bought an STi 6speed. Tranny is still hanging in the car so pics would be limited. Of course pickup would be preferred but will ship freight at buyers expense, paypal add 3%. Edit, the transmission is an 2002 build. SOLD SOLD SOLD

Hi, I am new to this forum because I am actually looking specifically for a transmission for my subaru. I was wondering how much it would be to ship that transmission to northwestern connecticut, or somewhere within 2 hours of there. I am very interested in this transmission and am seriously considering purchasing it, I just need to see if I would be able to afford it with shipping. Thanks in advance

PM me a zip and I'll check the rates.
Also since its Freight, it would GREATLY reduce cost if you can ship it to a business address! |

Fyi no matter who I use and where it's going Freight shipping seems to be in the 200-250 dollar range, however, I'm will willing to half the cost of shipping with whomever buys it!

I asked the guy I bought it from and he said he "thought" it was an 04. I understand the need to be a little more concrete with facts before someone makes a purchase like this so I'm going to run the numbers to find out exactly what year it is.
*Edit, ok just ran the numbers and found out it is an 02! Last edited by WRenXhaven; 09-10-2009 at 06:02 PM. Reason: Update post |
