Default Tire Question

Will a 245/45/17 fit on stock 07 WRX wheels or is the max a 235/45/17?

Thanks,

I run Toyos, I ran them back in the late '80's, the proxes 4 couldn't come in anywhere near their performance lineup. Of course their good tires cannot be exposed to temps below 15*. I can tell you that if you are expecting anything other than a smooth ride, forget it. If you don't expect to ever be able to use your car to it's full potential, (even in stock form), then maybe they would meet your needs, but they are not a "performance" tire. I have no Idea what your needs are as far as tires are concerned, but "all-seasons" lack in all seasons. They aren't solid at any one thing, they are a way to sell you a rain tire that doesn't do as well in the rain because they are also trying to make it handle in the summer. It's like someone selling snow skis that you can use as hiking boots in the summer.
