As for right now, keep plugging away. I don't envy you one bit, man. You're in a tight spot, but folks still want that product.

I just received my issue. To tell you the truth I am pleased with the new set up although I would like to see more in the magazine it self. Are you still going to do features like in the past? Dvd is different, I think this is the first magazine that I actually played the dvd. I do like how you got with PIA with there new forester build and sat in with Tim Bailey when he was tuning. Wish you the best in luck for the future. Oh and on a side note... will I be getting my subscription in full? I do believe I have paid in december and received 2 issues thus far and one being the november issue in 08

I own every single issue that has ever been published. I love Subiesport and will continue to support it in any form. |

I liked the DVD, but the production quality was sh^t. The magazine seemed to be one big advert for the DVD; it didn't have much substance. Having the same adverts in the mag and on the DVD is annoying. Cut the duplicate advertisements from the DVD and it would be much better. Also, I didn't appreciated the long wait.
It wouldn't bother me if the magazine was only on the DVD, but if it does go that route the quality and content has to improve greatly for me to consider renewing my subscription. Overall, there should be more relevant content than advertising and there isn't. Laslty, I'd like to wish Subiesport good luck as it makes its way through this transition. |

It's an interesting direction you're taking and I hope you do everything to take advantage of the extra senses you'll be engaging with all the movement and noise.
One gripe on the Legacy segment. Next time you do a new car review, get down and dirty with it. Put in on a lift, poke around inside, pile four or five friends in the thing and take it out on the Interstate, and play with the buttons. |

I'll answer the question. Yes! I've always been a car guy. Have been since I was 15 and still am 34 years later. I don't need a Subaru only magazine, but it is nice to have one. I like reading about all types of cars. In the past I have subscribed to numerous magazines at one time. Normally one that caters to a specific brand or model (Mustang / Mopar / Subaru etc.) and then one or two that cover a wider varity at once. I have no interst in a DVD format and if that is the wave of the future I'll have to find another way to get my fix. |

I can't believe I renewed my subscription through the end of 2010 just in time for you to drop this pile of crap in my mailbox. I've been a subscriber since the first issue. I signed up at your table at WCSS before you even got into production. If you had told me at that time that I was signing up for a 15 page flier full of advertising and a table of contents for a DVD, I would have just kept walking. My cancellation and refund request has been submitted.

Not sure if you missed it, but will be dealers be receiving this issue? I would love to give some feedback, but I can't until I get the mag (or DVD or whatever) |

You would think after 5 months of waiting, you would thinkl the least they could do is send out a FULL issue magazine and the DVD. Not a 15 page flyer of ads and a DVD. And then the price on the magazine is $9.99. For what? 15 pages and a freaking DVD. Not a 15 page flyer of ads and a DVD. I personally can't believe how sad that is. I see no reason to renew it at the end of the year if this contines. There are plenty of great forums there you can get information and help for free.

I subscribed late last winter and have received one issue. Just got home from a weeks business trip. Maybe the new/DVD issue is waiting at my POB. If I knew I was subscribing to a 'running on fumes' rag, I would have saved my $$.

Not what I signed up for, not what I'm accustomed to, not what I expect. You as the magazine need to determine the most cost effective way to deliver the "best" content you can to your customers, those of us who are the subscribers-I for one have been there since issue number 1 and will most likely hang on until printed issues die off. To close, the DVD format is OK if that is what you are looking for. Most DVD's in magazines I rarely look at as I don't trust them. I occassionally purchase car magazines at the bookstore if there are articles of interest. I would hope that the team at Subiesport can come up with a cost effective way to deliver like they have prior to 2009 - I miss that. ![]() That is all. |

I just got my issue...
I wasn't expecting this. I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to read a magazine away from TV's and computers, or even during commercial breaks watching TV. So I'm not pleased about this new format. That being said, the DVD was quite good and i'm glad to have it. I am thinking that you probably should have informed subscribers via print about this change a bit more clearly, and perhaps only offered it after the end of the subscription year as an option. I'm also thinking if you do want to do the DVD/Magazine combo, you should probably consider re-formating the print version to encompass the DVD in some way, like perhaps a physically smaller magazine with a built in DVD holdster? Something along those lines... Something that could perhaps be displayed on a shelf. |

Well, my subscription has been fairly frustrating.
Several months go by before a consecutive issue comes out. What comes is a several-page advertisement handbook that looks like a promotional item at a convention, with a dvd we can't even download content from (ie, the photo gallery is a slideshow). Not to mention all the forced advertisements we must watch to get through video. This new style really doesn't compete with a normal-sized magazine as something tangible we can take with us wherever we want. I shouldn't have to need my computer for a magazine subscription; From a practical standpoint for readers, I don't think it is a good idea– Maybe from time to time as a special "holiday" or "race season" issue. Also, the two issues since my December subscription– which was a gift– has hardly sufficed in so far as the money that has been given to SubieSport. People basically need what they pay for consistently. We will read and buy as much as you let us. Money given ≠ the product or customer service being received. |

still haven't received mine yet so no complaints on content. I am in fact excited about the PIA 09 fsti since that is still my favorite article in your print mag on their 04 cayenne red fsti swap since I am in fact a cayenne red 04 fxt owner.
my biggest complaint is going to be just like everyone else that i have no way of accessing the content in the on the go. Any thought of doing a podcast? still electronic and has the benefits of producing a DVD but way more portable? Sorry if this idea was already mentioned but I got tired of reading through complaints with no suggestions on how to improve |
