215/50/16 Fit on Stock WRX Wheels

Found a set of 215/50/16 tires from a local member that were on his Forester. They will fit stock WRX wheels (2002) correct? Any caveats/benefits to this size?

Yeah they will fit quite nicely you could fit 225's on but thats a bit big and with it being 50 it means just alittle less side wall play so your good to go it will change your speed but i never noticed a change from when i had 45's and went to 40's so who knows technically it should change slightly.

215/50/16 is slightly smaller in diameter than the stock 205/55/16, so your speedo will read 60mph when you're actually going 59mph.

The wrx benefits from extra tire width and a slightly shorter tire. Both of these are benefits of 215/50/16 over 205/55/16. They'll work fine.
