Default ECU Pictures

Can anyone post a picture of the stock or modified ECU? I want to see what its supposed to look like versus a modified one. Also, can someone give me a quick how to on how to gain access to it. I'm looking at buying a used WRX and want to check the ECU to see if its been tampered with.

Thanks.

If its about the same as my 99rs which Im sure it is, the ecu is under the carpet on the passanger side. You'll have to remove a metal plate to reveal the ECU . It should be pritty easy to tell if its been tampered with. The wires should be nice and neat. I have installed an S-Afc and rev/speed meter, and I know you would be able to tell they there. I would say look for electric tape wraped around individual wires covering spliced sections.
