car looks great. Just want to ask you guys a quick question. I see people puttin sti badges and stuff on their wrx's. Is this kinda the same theory as people that have GS intengra's puttin type-R badges on it ? Rice or not ? Nothing against you, just wondering. Been thinkin about this for a while. Like if someone put an STI badge on the back of their rex.

Not only is STi a model of the WRX, it is the official Subaru tuning house. So It's more like Honda guys putting Mugen on their rides. It's Kosher if you have STi parts on your car, poser if you don't.

Oh yeah, I love the Prova kit. Super clean. Now we just need a new antenna...

That's the biggest gripe I have with the car right now, I hate my manual antenna so much I've stopped listening to radio

Remember putting Type-R on an Integra GS does not equal putting STi on a WRX. Type-R is a model, not a tuner. Now if only Prodrive would offer affordable body enhancements, I'd gladly slap a Prodrive badge on my car.

Wow, I guess I could throw a Prodrive sticker on, I have the exhaust and mud flaps...

I also like the look of the Griffin/Alles Create body kit, I'd be really sold if body kits didn't hang so low. I like being able to drive up my ramps. Right now my OEM replica kit has to come off if I want to use my ramps

Nearly every kit I've seen is like that too.

It's just too bad that some people have know idea what STi stands for, especially the other import owners(Honda, Acura,...). When Franco had his car featured on Speedoptions, people were clowning him because he had RS and STi on his car. Dumbass' didnt know that RS was the model, and that STi are the Subaru tuners. They thought it was like putting Type R on a Nissan or something. I told them to get a clue...

thanks for all the positive remarks- it's kind of funny you guys get so into the badge thing and than forget to say anything until the end...lol

it's all good, that's why it's called a forum!!!!
but anyways to join you guys on the discussion about badges! personally i really don't want to put anything that says sti but the front grill has it molded on, the carbon fiber sidemarkers has it painted underneath the gloss and the meshcovers came that way... so in short i will eventually remove the sti off the front grill, the sti on the foglight covers will eventually fade off(hopefully) otherwise i will just take paint thinner to it!!!! and the carbon fiber sidemarker....ummmm i don't think i can do anything!!! and the reason for all this is i don't have anything sti internally. if i did than maybe........................

I ended up putting the whole STi badge package on my trunk lid recently. But the reason being was to cover up all the gouges some ass made when he stole my regular WRX badges

But then, as I am one of the few here who really DOES race my car in SCCA, am I still a poser???

i bought them thru accuritimpreza, no i bought the sti black ones and than had them painted- they only come in blue or black!!!

thanks for the compliment!!!! the prova kit costed me around 2000.00 i believe- all i remember is that it was cheaper than vividracing's wholesale price!!!!

the car looks great. good job!

as for putting "STi" badges and decals...i agree that it's the same as putting nismo, mugen, mopar, or SVT on your car....if you have some of those parts on your car. it's totally different from claiming your civic is a skyline GT-R, or that your A4 is an S4, or M3 badging on a regular 3 series BMW, or even worse...a civic, which is retarded. i also think that putting a wrx badge on an rs or L is kind of dumb, but i also think that it was ok a couple years ago before the wrx was available in the US, if that makes sense.

anyway, cool car!!
