Default *Spokane/CDA Meet 8/23!!*

Spokane/CDA Meet August 23rd!

A driving meet to Spangle for food at The Harvester, and an after trip to Steptoe Butte. Meeting at Fastkart at 1:30 pm, leaving for Spangle around 2:30pm, depends on how late people are still showing. Arrive in Spangle around 3pm, eat and enjoy some company, and driving out to Steptoe Butte. Plan on being back to Spokane 8:30 to 9pm

What: Spokane/CDA Meet at Fastcart, drive to Spangle eat at The Harvester, drive to Steptoe Butte.

When: Sunday, August 23rd; 1:30pm at Fastcart, Leave for Spangle at 2:30pm, Eat at The Harvester about 3:15-4:45~5pm, Leave for Steptoe around 5-5:15, arrive back in Spokane 8:30-9pm

Where: Spokane Fastcart, Spangle at The Harvester, Steptoe Butte.

Another Spokane/CDA local meetup for some good food, good drive, and good times!

Maps:

Directions East and West to Fastcart

Would post a map of the drive but, simply follow 195 to Spangle, then 195 to Hume Rd which takes you to the top, really straight forward. Round trip should be about 140 miles, 3 hours of driving.

Hope to see you all there! Should be a great meet!

I'm always down for a meet but I get off at 6 on Sundays. Plus I really need a tune before any crazy driving but I don't mind riding in wrxs :-)

fail! its not courteous to plan meets when another member has planned one.... although his is a trip to oregon so your probably ok.... one problem with meeting at fast cart is its not off the main road so its harder for people who dont know where it is to spot the group. my 2 cents

^We've done it before with great success. We just never played fast kart that's all.

I think Ken is afraid of asking for directions.

Just checking for conflicts really. Probably going to setup definite plans tonight. And yeah, we've done a meet there with no problems with people getting there so not an issue.

And honestly didn't know anything about an Oregon trip.. but I'm not going, and the 23rd works good for me, and I'm sure for a few other people the 23rd works good, so that's what I'm sticking with.

No to be a douche.. but that's big claim to make there.

Should be fun, especially with the nice drive to Steptoe.

And I'll more than likely have the plans posted to night, so check the OP for info.

Since I haven't been over to the harvester to eat, and the drive there, I might be up for it. I will have to see what I am doing the 23rd. getting there at 1 pm could work, maybe 2 pm??

If you know for sure, we could wait around for you till about 2. Though we wouldn't be leaving fastcart till 2. Actually, lets do 2:30 leaving fastcart. Puts us to The Harvester at about 3ish.

Anymore recommendations, or possible time conflicts to work in for anyone? Won't be as willing to change once I post final plans. So speak up guys!

Hey Fellas, how's it going? I'm moving to spokane in december and I was wondering if you have 91 or 93 octane in WA? Trying to plan my tunes accordingly, any good tuners in Washington?

Look forward to meeting,
Rob

I'm not sure which one, but I know you can get high octane. At stateline, I believe you can get racegas.. not sure if you really can, or what octane it is.

Cool, if someone knows which one that'd be great.

i have a protune for 93, and if you guys only have 91 then i can get a protune for 91 now while i'm close to my tuner.

92 everywhere in Spokane and the surrounding areas. I've looked high and low for higher octane. I'd get tuned for 91 before I left if I were you.

At felts field you can get av gas which i think is 100 octane. Gonna pay out the nose for it though.

Probably, maybe they were just counting up the openings for working at McDonalds part-part-time.
