Default Mixed snows and all season on a Legacy

My wife's Legacy got another flat (nail). While we are waiting for Costco to find a replacement (model of tire no longer made, and we have road hazard replacement) I switched out the flat tire and the other rear tire with her snows.

Do I need to switch out all 4 tires for the snows or can I get away with the the 2?

Thanks

using mixed tires would be a very bad idea in winter.......it would almost insure an accident, I think

snow tires for winter is best

Run all 4 the same. AWD and different tires do not mix well. If all the tires are not the same diameter, the diff will be toast.

what tires were you running, you may get lucky and find someone with the same model and same tread depth on the forums...it's always worth a shot.

Thanks for the responses.

I am only running the mixed set until Costco gets the replacement tire in and I can get it mounted. That should be later this week. Although the tire is not made anymore, they found one at another location and ordered it.
