Default HndaTch?Others?- Honda question

Minor problem with my 95 Civic EX (hubby's car). For some reason the cigarette lighter stopped working awhile back... we quit smoking but my hubby wants it for charging his phone...(wow! now that I think about it, it's the only thing to ever have broken on the car!!)

Continuity tester shows power going to it, but neither the lighter or the phone charger will work. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Michelle

It's the damn lighter socket itself. Had the same problem on my 00 Civic Si.

I kinda had that feeling... since it was broken BEFORE hubby installed his new stereo Sometimes him and electricity don't get along.

So is it pretty easy to replace?

Just get a really long cord, plug it into your subu's lighter, and drive along-side his car with the phone in his car... Hey, its late!!!

It is late... I'm getting giddy and giggly...

Well, I told him to just plug the phone into those lighted washer fluid nozzles he has on the hood...
(yes, he really has them. I am embarrased to drive his car ANYWHERE!)

Default LoL @ lighted squirters

I've seen a few honduhs around my town w/ those. What'll they think of next? Glow-n-the-dark chicken wire grills?

Actually light up valve stems. Yep, I've seen them.

actually you might be able to save it...sometimes it's just the thing comes loose and won't make a ground...i normally sell a socket just to be safe though.
