Thumbs down Cross Creek Subaru, Fayetteville NC

My dealings with the above dealership began 7 weeks ago following a wreck. Before beginning the repairs on the car, I asked the body shop to test the side airbags and determine why they did not deploy, being as I was t-boned and the majority of the damage was to the driver's door. After being told that they would comply with this request, I was disappointed when I called a few days later and the car had already been taken apart without testing the sensors. I was informed that it was standard to test the sensors after the car was repaired - why this wasn't mentioned in the first place is frustrating. I was assured that the car would be in the shop for no more than 25 days. However, it took 58 days to complete the repairs and after driving it home, I realized it needed to go back to the shop. First, the car wasn't completed when I picked it up - a piece of molding was needed and would be available in a few days. No problem there, but it would have been nice to know before I was called to pick it up. Secondly, they had 'detailed' the car. Since it was raining at the time I picked it up, I didn't notice the wax residue all over the car as well as numerous streaks. Not only that, but it had mud caked all over the lower sides from where it had sat in their mudlot awaiting repairs. Next, the paint was uneven in certain spots such as the door jams and the rear bumper. The day after picking it up, I was puzzled why it wouldn't start. To my chagrin, I found that the battery connectors weren't bolted on but were just barely touching the battery. Jeez. And finally the straw that broke my back was the radio being jacked up. For whatever reason, they monkeyed with the amp, speakers, something and now music fades from front to back of it's own accord. Needless to say, when I finally get a chance to take it in, I will have a talk with the manager. If you need body work done to your car in the Fayetteville, NC area stay away from this dealership.

Sorry for the long post but hopefully it will keep others from making the same mistake.
