Default Please Help: SMC Meth system not spraying after clutch install

Please help. I have a SMC methanol injection system installed on my 2004 sti. Everything has always worked fine untill i took it to a mechanic to have a new ACT 6 puck clutch kit and new light weight flywhee installed. The garge i went to was recomended by a guy i know that has multiple high performance, highly modified cars.

I went for a ride after the install to break in the new clutch and found that the car felt way under powered compaired to usual. The car makes 454 whp spraying meth. I noticed that the indicator light on the dash control module that let you know that the system is armed was lit as it should be but at 10 PSI the system should spray but does not. No spray at all. The mechanic said that all he did with the electrical system was pull the batery. I checked the ground wires for the meth pump, they were fine. I am really upset about this. I worked fine when i took it to this guy. I just noticed it today and the mechanics shop is closed so i havent had a chance to bring the car back to the shop. I reset my map with my access port to the 26 psi + meth map because the ECU had reset after they pulled the battary. Can anyone help me? The green armed light is on but the spray light will not come on at 10 PSI and the system is not spraying. When i hit the test button i get nothing. I looks like its grounded to the right side bolt of the meth bottle. I am affraid that the mechanic will not take the blaim. He will say the he only pulled the battery. What would they have disconnected in order to drop the tranny for a clutch install that could cause this problem. The car was tuned by TopSpeed of ATL and they are 500 mile away from me. I need help.

just call smc and ask him. he's a nice guy, always around to assist his customers/consumers.

if its a ground issue i think the spray light stays on. what you can do is get a helper to look at the pressure gauge on the pump while you lightly tap the gas and press the test button. if there isn't any pressure then your pump failed.

recheck all your wiring just incase the mechanic disconnected something. i wouldn't go WOT with this thing broken... your car is probably pulling timing because its running lean.

I did the test with a helper. The pressure gauge had no response at all, it stayed at 0. I called SMC, the guy was very nice and helpful. He said that it sounds like pump failure or bad gaskits but being that the system was working when I droped the car off at the mechanic and not working when I picked the car up, he said that it is very likely that something happend during the clutch install. He said that the wiring runs down by the clutch and that it may be burned, frayed or broken. I tried to trace the wire but not being under the car, i couldnt see far enough. Can anyone confirm that the wiring runs near the clutch? It looked like it just goes straight into the cabin. I am also trying to find a installation diagram or a instructions document for this SMC kit but have had no luck. Dose anyone know where I can find one? Also, should the spray light come on when I run the test? It does not.

He did say that the groud wire running to the tranny has nothing to do with the system.

Thanks for all the help. I guess it was just crazy odds that the pump faild while it was in the shop getting a new clutch installed because all of the wiring was fine but when I put power to the pump I got nothing. I shipped it off to SMC and they are going to replace the pump for $75.
