Default Pennzoil Platinum $15 rebate or Walmart GC of $15

Limit to two $15 Gift Cards per family when you buy 5-quart PP oil. YMMV

Check here for more info. If you're local Wally World doesn't have the special tags for the $15 GC, then Pennzoil has a $15 rebate form for it here. Not as good, but better than nothing

Wal-Mart usually has the best prices on 5qt jugs of oil.

Just got my 2 jugs. Make sure you get two separate receipts if you want to do two rebates....one receipt but two rebate cards will not work apparently (someone mentioned it on BITOG)

That's odd, I sent out two envelopes (different addresses) with 2 cards and one receipt in each.

Didn't say anywhere on the card, only 2 per person/family.

We'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Yeah it doesn't explicitly mention it on the card and I hope it works out for you. I was just skeptical due to someone else's comment, so I played it safe (two txns for each jug).

wait let me get this straight, i can buy 2 (5 quart) containers of PP oil from wal-mart, i can get 2 $15 gift cards.

AND

i can also buy 1 (5 quart) container of PP and get a $15 rebate from pennzoil?

that sounds too good to be true.. so basically i could get 3 (5qt) containers of PP and get about $45 worth of gift cards/rebates....

can anyone clarify this?

That's what I did in the self checkout (as not to annoy the employees in the regular checkout lanes).

I had all 3 sent off the next day too. Wanted to copy the receipts at work before sending the originals for my record book. Only1agam, what vis did you get? 5w30? There was only 4 5w30s left when I got there so it seemed that someone else in the area knows of this deal.

i got 5w30 and saw plenty of them left.. one of the wal-marts i went to (the popular one) didn't have any left period (and the pp bottles that were there didn't have the gc rebate thing)

i went to the not AS popular wal-mart and i saw a ton of em left

If I used the 5W-30, I would be adding some 15W-50 to make a high 30 or 40 grade. There have been some good xW-30 uoa's on PP in Subaru turbo's, and there have been some uoa's with high wear. I believe that I have seen more of the latter. Just make sure you do not go past 3k on the xW-30 and do a used oil analysis, IMO.

If my PP 5w30 UOA comes back blah, I'll probably try GC since it is very very close to a 40wt and if that doesn't work out either, I'll probably jump on the RTS 5w40 bandwagon.

My wagon and our FXT burned PP at a rate similar to M1, compared with Castrol Syntec 5w-30, which stayed in the motor. I'm switching to the Rotella for piece of mind.

i actually bought the PP 5w-30 for the dad's 08 tribeca (the gf bought some for her 96 tercel also).. i'm sticking to the shell rotella t 5w-40 for the next oil change (i'm using syntec 10w-30 at the moment).

Just called the phone number on the rebate form and it's OK to have both 5-quart purchases on one receipt. Put two rebate forms and one receipt in the mail yesterday. I might go buy another one for $20 and send it in for the regular $15 Pennzoil rebate
