Default Defi issue

I have had the defi gauges in my car for a year and a half with no problems. But a couple of days ago when I was coming to a stop the oil pressure gauge fell to it's idle pressure and now won't move at all. The car has plenty of oil and runs fine which leads to my guess of a sensor. Anyone have any ideas on where to start and what to look for?

I did search but it seems I always miss things.
Thanks for the help.

Have you tried making sure all the connections are secure? trace all the wiring back to make sure there arent any shorts, cuts, things of the like.
