easy the contacts in the switch for putting it down are probably worn out but the up contacts are ok.

Have a friend with the same car, swap switches, its the easy way to tell without spending money

I have a similar problem on a 97 Outback where the left rear power window won't go down. Any thoughts on a likely cause of that?

thanks!
