Question Anybody had experience with Norwood Subaru, MA ?

Hi,

I am in the midst of shopping for my WRX. After a typical good cop bad cop game with the sly ones at Natick Subaru i went to Norwood and the impression i had from salesman Jonathon Boske was excellent.

I am just wondering if anybody has had any experience with them to back up my impression, or if i am just blinded by my need for a WRX and a smiley dealer.

Would really appreciate any replies!

cheers
paul

Hey-

What was it like at Natick Subaru?
Do they sling a lot of bs?
I went there once wanting to testdrive a WRX (about a year ago), and the salesman would only let me drive a 2.5RS.
He said nobody drives a WRX unless you are going to buy it .

But one of my buddies got to flog a 'rex for like an hour at the Norwood dealer about a week after they hit the lot (again, this is all about a year or so ago).

Did Natick let you drive a WRX? Are they still going for sticker there or for less now?

I really want to drive one bad! Just don't have the bs'ing capabilities that Im actually going to buy the car.

Hey

Yeah Natick is full o crap.

They let me test drive the cars, no problem there - but they were full of ****.
Sam Mayer told me that 03 models came out in "January - February" ?? and tried to charge me $1000 over invoice, calling it a discount of MSRP instead. Manager is rather nasty too.

I am 21 going on 22.

Said nothing - just wanted a test drive!

The first time they only had an automatic for me - very disappointing for me- , the 2nd time i tested a 5spd wagon.

Actually a test drive is not much good. Out of respect for the car and its future owner, I didn't want to hammer the car, and as you know these cars need hammering to perform. You are not going to see performance during the engine break-in period!

I was familiar with the power of older WRXs already, and just wanted to have a feel for the MY02 car. It felt like a rock, so i wanted it. Your best bet to really feel out the car is to find somebody with one. Go for a ride with someone and see if he or she will let you give it a short go. Be nice to the car though!

I expect to have my car sometime this week or early next. If you haven't had a drive by then and are willing to wait, I wouldn't mind meeting with you (after i've broken her in).

I live in Babson College, MA (around wellesley).

Cool man!

On a side note, do you know a girl named Candace Choi. She goes to Babson.
