Default Filter leak on 02

Yea I searched found a few things buttttt nothing completely relevant.

Its leaking above and running down the oil filter. Has been going on for quite a while with more than one filter... So its obviously coming from the cooler somewhere.

Anyone have any info on a fix for this?

Well - there's an o-ring seal at the top of the oil cooler - the thing you thread the oil filter onto is also the connector/hollow bolt which holds the oil cooler in place (and thus places pressure on the o-ring) - could be that the filter bound up once and when being tightened or removed, loosened/damaged the o-ring. You could try tightening the connector tube up and see if that solves the problem (or if that doesn't work, pull the oil cooler and replace the o-ring)

The whole OEM kit (cooler & lines) was ~$325 last time I looked.
Your issue is a simple fix, no need to replace the cooler.
