Default Jake from NTX Performance Services does it again!

Just had a clutch replaced for a friend by jake over the weekend. the car was done very promptly and the car just drives fantastic! i would have to say at these hard times, jake is the go to guy if you want quality and something affordable. good job jake! thanks for everything!

Products used.
Exedy Stg 2 clutch
Gruppe-s Light Flywheel

There was no chatter which is amazing because i know others that have this clutch but with resurfaced flywheels and have slight or crazy chatter.. i guess i'm in the market for a gruppe-s flywheel now.

Just a question but what has to do more with clutch chatter?

The Clutch you buy (how it is made) or the install?

I have always run an ACT and will get a little chatter and now and again. But didn't know if it was the clutch itself or how it was installed.

it's a condition of the clutch/driver. Install generally never causes it to chatter.

***unless*** the installer reuses a damaged flywheel.

damaged will have hot spots purple/blue discolorations on the surface.

Thanks Jake, I always get a new Flywheel so it should be good. Didn't know if maybe water or driving condition will cause it cause mine will not do it for a long time then start up and I like to think it is weather related.

But I drive it constantly, just making sure the ACT is a good clutch to go with and does not usually have this problem.
