Default Will a 05 wrx MT work in a 02 wrx MT?

Without doing any other modification? I couldn't find any info after searching for about 30 minutes. Thanks in advanced.

It should. They didn't change the final drive and clutch stuff until 06.

It should be a swap-and-go, with the exception of the axles. You'll probably need the axles from the 05.

Thanks for the easy answer Andrew.
What about 06 axles with an 05 transmission in an 03 WRX? They both use the male axles right?
