Default TD05 Big 16g vs stock 06 wrx td04? Help!

I need a new turbo but I have no clue what to get. Im not building my wrx to be a street beast. After all you dont need a totally built wrx to haul kayaks on the back roads. So any advice asap would be greatly appreciated. Thanks dudes!!

You need a new turbo as in you blew your old one up?? Your stock Tdo4 can make decent power with the addition of a few bolt ons while with the Big16G can net you around 300hp. With the 16G you'll be able to use your stock fuel system but you will need at least a downpipe and most deffently a tune! But in your case i would say keep the Td04 and get a downpipe and a tune...you'll have fun w/that.

A 16g will give u a lot of torque. It will be good for tight stuff. If u want to be faster up to go with a 18-20 g.

Read the Turbo FAQ, then repost this in the newbies forum. You came here asking for advice and we have no idea of WHP, budget, engine management, and your tuner's advice so anyone helping here is really painting you into a corner.
