Default what mid pipe???

okay i have a gutted stock cat on my car. considering my dp is 3" and my exhaust is 3 1/2" i want somthing bigger than the 2 1/2, or whatever it is, cat piece that's in there.
i was looking around and what companies call a mid pipe is the piece that goes from the dp and connects to the axel back. i just need that like foot and a half piece that's in the stock exhaust system just bigger. where do i go to order this??? or what is this piece called if not a mid pipe?

They sell one that has a heat shield that resembles a catalytic converter. I believe you have to call in to order it.

Why not just buy a whole downpipe?

You won't, you have to call in. It's a 3rd cat delet pipe with a cat heat shield to "protect" the rear O2.

*edit* These were all the rage back in the day, he may not sell them anymore.

I remember the EPA was giving him **** for selling a pipe that looked like a cat but had no cat.
