Default UOA on Valvoline SynPower: let me know how it looks

As title says, let me know what you think about this UOA. This is my first one and unclear how to read. I've look at others and my copper and sodium look high?

Thank you,
Paul

BS gave you an explanation on the copper which makes sense for a new engine. The sodium is perfectly fine because it is a major player in Synpower's additive pack (notice the super low moly...another characteristic of synpower). Viscosity is bordering a 20 weight, but other than that it's looking good.

The copper could be just from break-in (oil cooler is copper) but I definitely wouldn't go past 3,500 miles before the next uoa. There are several high copper uoa's in subie turbo's posted at bitog, and most of them are running your typical Energy Conserving uoa's and most of them are '08/'09 2.5T's.

Fingers crossed that this is only break-in wear like BS said. Otherwise, Synpower 5W-40 FTW! There's a pretty good uoa on it somewhere around here. If it doesn't subside, you may need an expert like this dude: Terry Dyson. He's seen many high copper 2.5T's.

Thanks for the responses. I have another used oil sample of SynPower ready to go as soon as I get the empty sample jug from Blackstone. I think the sample has less than 3000 miles. Will post the results when I get them.
