Impreza WRX STi Tire Help re-11 or re-070's??

The time has come for me to buy new tires. I need some info on buying some new tires such as a place and which tires to go with. I am stuck on the

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

or

Bridgestone Potenza RE070

what do you guys think

any info would be great thanks

alrite kool well on alot of websites they have the RE-070 higher then the RE-11 so I was like .... I should ask some pep's here on nasioc

I was actually talking to the guy who designed the RE070. He told me that when they were making it all they did was track testing. no NVH or anything like that. He also said it's semi-biased ply so everyone has been running it at the wrong pressure. That it would beast the RE-11's if you ran them @ 20psi and the RE'11's at whatever pressure.

I used to have RE070's and now I have RE11's.

i have the re-11's and like them much better than the re070. Sidewall isn't as stiff, but it has a ton of traction. I also have 4 track days on them and there is still a considerable amount of tread left. My 2 cents

Or look into dunlop star specs...Those have blown away any tire ive used so far
