Wider doesn't always mean better (like in snowy conditions). Either way, without going too far into it, there aren't a lot of true "ALL" Season tires.

From what I've heard and read, that Continentals and the Nokian WR tires are good in all seasons. I don't have any experience with the Nokians but I did have Continentals on a Audi years ago. They were good in all seasons but I never pushed the car on the dry so I am not sure how they would have done when being driven aggressively.

I will tell you this, do NOT get the Toyo Proxes 4 tires if you want a Greater than 2 Season tire. They suck in the wet and snow.

Either way, with the BBSs, I'd go with a 225 width tire (my opinion though).

The BBS on his car are 17x8" and the STi likes taller ratios. As such, 235/45/17 makes more sense. Should clear fine even with his springs thanks to +53 offset.

I hate all seasons with a passion but if you must buy them, buy Bridgestone 960s 235/45/17.

Well I would get summer tires but I would have to leave them on all year and I'm not sure how well they will hold up in the cold weather. And are those bridgestones wide?

They're 235mm wide??? You want me to make some kind of judgement call on how wide they look or something?

Get two sets of wheels. Keep a summer set and a winter set of tires and just change wheels when the season changes.

P235/45R17. Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS or Micheline Pilot Sport AS+ seem to be top choices, Continental ExtremeContact DWS has also got some good reviews but some have complained of a softer sidewall making it feel floaty on aggressive turns. Look into those three by searching NASIOC, TireRack.com, google, ect.
