Default Enkei RC-T4

i just bought a set of these wheels from a guy on here, and am very much looking fwd to getting them. its strange though, in this forum, and in the classifieds section, whenever i search for "Enkei RC-T4" or rc-t4, or anything similar, nothing comes up.
i'm wondering if anybody else is running these, and if so, lets have some sexy pics! thanks

They're actually not even DOT legal for street use...its cast right on them "for competition use only".

They have the JWL and VIA markings...which means they are legal for road use in Japan.

As for USDOT, thats a tossup...since they are kind of 'grey market', but I seriously doubt a JWL/VIA wheel wouldn't be DOT legal.

They are still kind of scarce, and not everyone likes the style of them....I love mine though.

It should be mentioned that they SUCK to clean....its really hard to get brake dust out of all the crevices near the lip.

Best wheels ever. Someday, they will be mine. And I'd like a set of rally gravel wheels for the winter, too.

Get a brush from the local autoparts store. I use one on my wheels and between that and the normal car wash soap (I use Meguiar's Deep Crystal Car Wash currently) & water the wheels typically clean right up. I go over my wheels 2 times each with the brush (rinse, clean, rinse, clean, rinse) and they typically are back to looking nice and clean again. I never really have had need to buy the expensive wheel cleaner products after doing that.

Also, before you mount them, wax them. I did that to my P1's and now no matter how dirty or brake dust caked they get, it just washes of nice and easy.

Its not the 'stickiness' of the brake dust that makes them hard to clean, its the shape of the wheel.

Even with a wheel cleaning brush it can be hard to get the little crevices...and it just gets tiresome because there are so many spokes.

It would be fun to watch the racoons lick your wheels all night

The widest 17 is 9" (ET 35)....You can get 9.5 in 18 inch diameter though (ET 35 or 45)
