Default Lee Berbs Tints

Hey guys, I know there are threads about him but I have yet to see many pics of his work. Well I might have to get a few(or all) windows re-tinted for scratches from ski's etc over time and have heard only good reviews about lee berbs. I know he's hard to get ahold of and know this isn't members gallery but I thought it might be also helpful to other locals... he's affiliated with AZP right? I'd def travel for the right services...

Plz post pix of your Lee Berbs work!

Until I see a better tint job, I'll maintain this view.

Lee finishes frameless windows perfect. No "shaving", "microedging" or other bull****. Perfectly filed edges is what Lee does.

You can maintain your view all you want. Shades of Gray is a good, reputable, and quality shop but again........that's just my view.

matt go to shades of grey, they are re tinting the sti in the next few weeks along with my clear bra. you wont be dissapointed with there work.

im not trying to start a big argument of whos better. They are both great tinters but your so close to shades of grey it almost doesnt make sense to drive so far away.

p.s. im trying to get into there booth at the auto show this winter when the sti is finished.

Hard to quantify the 'best tinter' but I've taken/referred several cars to Lee and all owners were more than pleased with the extra attention to detail.

From the sound of it, shades of grey seems to be the same way... so I don't think we need a pissing contest.

lol photos or none of this happened!

I have a few bubbles in mine, and the edges are now a little iffy on some windows. That plus a few scratches in tints from skis/snowboard negligence is now fairly noticeable... and lets just say I didn't necessarily go to the most reputable place and I don't think it was warrantied...

+1 for SOG.

If Rockstar sends their trucks there for tint, its good enough for me

Shades of Grey has done a couple friends cars. None have come out anything but perfect.

To the OP, sorry I was too busy to take a pic.

As far as "being perfect"... to the OP - ask for specifics, particularly how the frameless windows edges are finished. I found on multiple occasion things that are "perfect" in other's opinion, are crap in mine.

Lol still no pix! I would like to see some of the edges, I thought mine were nice until I noticed some peeling... might have been the heat + no garage...

i've heard nothing but good things about both shades of gray and lee berbs. i believe both finish the window edges with a file. you are correct that AZP uses lee berbs for tint. shades of gray usually has a winter sale if you can wait a few months...not sure if they are a vendor here, but they announce it on IWSTI. shades of gray does have a website where you can see their work...not sure if lee does, but i think it is his work i have seen on paisan's leggy wagon, and it was certainly top quality. i don't think you would be disappointed with either, but shades of gray is closer to you.

Lee's work is as good as tinting can get. I would put a picture up but it would take a lot less time to look at your clear window - then picture it perfectly darker with no defects.

He is very conscientious about every moment he is working on someone's car.

There are a lot of good and great vendors but few make me feel as if they are taking as much care with my car as I would. When I watch Lee work I feel as if he might be taking better car with it.

His attention to fitting and laying clear shielding materials is phenominal.

He charges considerably less than he should or could.

This creates passion in his customers/supporters.

None of this means there are not other professionals who are just as good and dedicated, but I am confident they could only equal but not exceed Lee's work.

That said would I drive 2 hours only for Lee to do the work, if I knew there was equal quality available half an hour away? Not likely and Lee would be among the first to agree with that conclusion I believe.
