Default Stage 2 sti?

Hey guys I've done some searching and read the rules but I would still like a little clarification. Stage 2 STI with a Cobb Accessport OTS map would put me in street modified correct? My reasoning behind this is the the factory boost map is modified? Am I correct in the classification of my car?

Actually with boost adjusted it should be BSP, and would be STU with an STU map. STIs don't qualify for STX. If you have any other mods, you'd have to check what those may do as well. For instance a tire over 245 would disqualify you from STU.

ok it looks like ill be running bsp next year and should build my car up to that. I don't think i can run STU because the accessport blocks the emmissions code.

Depends on the map. I have an accessport with STU map that I run at events. In that map all the emissions codes are active. I also have a BSP map that has boost and deactivated codes. I run the BSP map on the street and then reflash to the STU map for events.

Do you have a cat? If you don't have a cat then you will not ever be STU legal.

I had the same question...

Ans) Boost modification, whether electronical or manual, will bump you to ESP. Not sure about BSP. I'm gonna check that out. Also, I was told COBB has an STU freindly map...might be worth a look.

STI and 08+ WRX are BSP. WRX is ESP.
