Default need some opinions

I've been thinking about making some changes to the wagon, I'm thinking something like this one.

I'm just wanting opinions.

That rig looks tough but it'd need a lightbar and some Hellas up front to complete the "look" IMHO.

I agree, but the question I'm asking is what do you think about going this route with my car?

if you're going to do that, buy a truck.

That looks like poo, IMO.

Its your car. What I meant to say is if you go this route with yours a lightbar full of driving beams would be hot. If you are getting something to auto cross with then I say go for it! I think it would be badass! Then you'd have to find RUBASU and race him!

I've seen so many of those since I've come up here. They were pretty rare to see down in the lower 48 (at least where I was at)

Eagle wagons are second only to 80's Subaru wagons in legend status in Alaska.

I say go for it Taig! Maybe even add the flared front fenders from the Impreza Sedan while you're at it.

Taig, I think that looks like the perfect vehicle to kick some evo (yeah, all lowercase) ass in Rally cross ALL winter long.

It is perfect for front end/air dam damage prevention in snow berms. Like aleutdude said, add a few rally lights........excellent execution for the conditions we will soon be seeing.

I assure you, I won't be slammed, as I am now, by the time the snow flies. I am planning a full rally-x-season and tons of mobility/visibility during our long dark winters. Set the vehicle up for actual use in the conditions it will be used, not what some POSER in the wrong brand from the midwest thinks is hip! He will be driving his beater or sitting in a ditch along with the rest of the boneheads.

You are a great driver, have confidence in the directions you feel drawn to. Your intuition will pay you dividends.

I was just thinking the other day about how b.a. it would be to pick up the silver bugeye in the forsale section and jack it up and make it a legit off road capable vehicle. I love my car, but it sucks not being able to mob on back roads and ****. A bugeye winter wagon would be tits, I say go for it, and if you need a hand just let me know, it would be a really fun project.

^^ jackson rally's car is what got me thinking about this, I've been following his build for awhile now. If I do go this route it won't happen anytime soon as I would need to amass parts and I don't have the extra money since I just bought another snow bike, still not sure if I'll do it. I'm still in the negotiation stage on the new auto-x car and we'll see how that goes.

When I was growing up we had a 1981 Eagle that my mom bought as a newer used car, then we got a brand new 1984 Eagle. I still remember the ride home from the dealer, Denali Motors, on 6th and Gambell. They were the AMC and Renault dealer
