sti engine into old 96' imprez question
no one give me any "just buy a wrx" answers plz! just assume i enjoy hard unnecessary work. i have a 1.8l 96' impreza brighton. i will put an sti engine in it. my question is, is there an sti engine i can just drop in? if so, what year etc. if not, which one culd i drop in with the least modifications.

Early JDM STI motors drog rigth in. BUT NO engine will run well witiout EM.
