What all has to be done to race your car at subiefest. Does anybody know. I would possibly think about taking my wrx out there.

If you run E85 full-time, it's out of the question. Supposedly no Colorado plates showed up last year.

A few of us from Boise Area are thinking about caravaning down to subie fest 2009.
They have Time attack, car shows, and could've sworn Cobb, Crawford, Perrin, and a few other killer tuning companies were there last year!!

You Utah folks should represent, cause heaps of people complain about the location from season to season (Seattle 2006, Portland 2007, Willowsprings cali 2008/09)
Lets have subiefest end up in your backyard at Miller motorpark!!!!!!This is the best track and central location-plus anything to help your local economy vs cali.

^Amen-Cobb in your backyard.
Plus, Perrin performance, Rallitek, Surgeline, PDXtuning, PRE engineering are all in the northwest.
And isn't the rallysportdirect.com company somewhere in Utah?

To be honest, there is not enough interest from car owners/drivers and spectators.

Drivers/Owners of time attack cars have a couple issues with miller that seem to make them not want to come out. This track favors cars with good setup and GOBS of power. This makes it so that cars that are down lets say 100WHP from the competition really get left behind where compared to most of the tracks in US that are quite smaller this is not as big of an issue. Another is that its high altitude, during Redline Events that we had the teams would constantly complain about how they had to retune the cars for the altitude and how slow they where(cry me a river).
Another issue is attendance, compared to Cali where you have allot of enthusiasts, on Sunday in Utah you can expect a decrease in attendance which is enough of a reason for some organizers to not want to bring the event here.
These things are quite unfortunate, as any person who has driven on the miller track will agree. That this IS the best track in North America. However no matter how good it is, some factors just cant be overlooked and this is some of the reasons why the Redline series does not come here

Default Subiefest, or Subie Invasion

^dude, you're right on all that. Didn't even think of those issues till you pointed them out.
**By the WAY** Now that some of you guys have mentioned SEMA/Subie invasion, which would be a better event to go to? Subiefest, or Subie Invasion? Opinions Please!!
