Most of the older TSC members don't bother coming out anymore. Most of the TSC members have only been a member for about a year or so.

Hey Sparspecker,

You're one of a few that aren't afraid to play with your Forester, what are you doing on Friday evening?

These are SPDA guys that run in the CASC-OR Regional series, whether it's the GT-Sprints, Solosprints, or Autoslalom.

If you clicked on the thread above, it's for "free" vip tickets to the Delaware event. Meaning, catered dinner, drinks, and free entry to the event. We do this not for spite of any organization, it's to attract people "in general" to take racing off the streets, plus to support the local Subaru dealers, like Fenwick.

We've done the same for Davenport, Barrie Subaru, and created ride and drive events for Subaru Canada, all for the cost of $0 dollars. We're a non for profit organzation that's supported by Subaru Dealers as well as Toyo Tires, Talon Tires and such.

We do stay away from inter club politics and try to create fun events for people to come and participate and we also provide an air of what it's like to enter professional sports by providing contingency prizes for all attendees. Programs are designes so you don't have to win.

Being a member provides you with access to over $8K worth of contingencies, just by particpating in legal motorsports. Being part of the ATTS provides you with access to $12,750 worth of prizes as well.

As you can see, it's not a TSC vs anyone meet, it's a come out and have fun type of event, legally.

Hope this helps. If I've taken your post out of context, I apologize in advance.

This post has nothing to do with TSC. That's why I posted it here. S&S_IS you are basically judging people you have never met and know nothing about. It's just meant to be a meet for car fans who happen to drive the same brand of car.

when you get an overwhelming number of people, ( TSC admin staff) who think they own the all they survey and their pathetic entourage that do nothing more then facilitate their fantasy.. I really do not feel that, that is a 'meet for car fans who happen to drive the same brand of car" All I see is yet another venue for those douche bags to try and lord around and become overly tiresome, very quickly. Whatever this promotion group is trying to do, it really does 'disclude' allot of 'us' who are sick of being around these ever present, self involved idiots.
However the fact that this group has associated themselves with Barrie Subaru is more then ample reason for me never to associate with them.. anyone who can stomach that dealership are people I have no desire to be around. ( You really don't get a second chance once you treat my wife like crap, then try to cover it up with attempted character assassination)

Spar until you've been subjected to these idiots in the manner I or more to the point my wife has, you have no subjective ability to judge the reasoning behind my .. dislike..

I would gladly come out to a non TSC meet in Barrie any day of the week and gladly not talk about anything to do with TSC..

hey guys i am living in north bay ontario. i joined TSC forum but got NO satisfaction from that site. i keep asking myself why more members from canada dont use nasioc??? it would be great if we could get a good group together on one site that has great networking and resources. also most parts dealers in ontario drive me nuts with the cost they charge us for parts and installs.

Might be usefull for us to share things like where we get our oil and for how much? I was going to Performance Improvements in Barrie for Royal Purple but am not satisfied with their service...

Currently looking for a new supply, where do you guys go?

What do you find wrong with Performance Improvements? There mainly setup for the Mopar/Muscle car scene but every now and then they have a good price on for Royal Purple. I also buy my NGK's from there as well.
Also, does your wagon have tints and Black/dark wheels Dsoicher? If so I saw it a while ago, looks really good. I also think I saw you pull into the auto cross at Molson a few weeks back. Speaking of which, that is on this weekend and I will be attending.

I can't complain much about the price but the service drives me nuts. They kept telling me for a week that oil was coming in tomorrow. At one point I was even promised that it would be there within the half hour, only to wait another couple days. Actually come to think of it they never did end up calling me back and I had put a case on order.

Also I've been reading some not so positive things about Royal Purple on here lately, would like to run Motul 300v but damn it is not cheap.

Oh and yeah that was me on both counts. Although my wheels aren't really that dark... they were covered with brake dust! Was that you with the darkish wheels at the auto-x? Looked fast...

RP oil from PI is pretty easy to do; just pick the right weight from the 35 or so boxes they have in the middle of the store and go.. What was the issue you were having?

I do ELF/Total oils if anyone whats an equal alternative to motul..

What is it that you want installed? I do everything myself. The only thing I'll be having done my STi steering rack. Q-Rack is going to fit that for me.

I know, except they never have the 20w50 left... or at least I always have trouble getting it.

Can you PM me oil prices?

I don't need anything installed, just was wondering where people get their oil... PI has been a pain for me since I started going there, but maybe that's just my experience.

My mistake. I meant to quote northern WRX. You run 20W50? How do you find it?

It's been great for the summer. It's what Dan & Frank over @ Fourstar reccomended. I'll be switching to 10w40 for my next oil change once the winter hits.

Nasioc doesn't make a distinction between Canadian and US resellers so 'we', the Canaidan resellers, are paying the same fees as a US based reseller.. which makes no sense given that we can't compete with the US resellers for US customers, which make up 99.8% of the users here.. I've tried to talk to them about a 'Canadian section only' reseller fee but no go. I wish they would make a distinction, because I have allot of items to offer TO Canadians.
