Quick ST rule clarification

I'm about to buy a 99 2.5rs, which should end up in ST for scca solo events.
I've taken a quick glance through the ST rule summary(listed as sts in the thread here, as it was built before the change).
My quick question. The car currently has a VIS carbon fiber hood. I'm under the impression that is not legal in ST, but looking on the scca.com site at the rules, I saw no mention of it. Typically if it doesn't specifically allow something, then it's not legal. Where I'm fuzzy is that body kits and such are allowed.
I don't particularly care for the hood anyway, but If I don't need to replace it, I don't want to go through the trouble.
