Question so i just got a free turbo...

my buddy has a t26 with a broken seal. bit of shaft play. he gave it to me cuz he just got a t3/t4 and doesn't need it. my question is, he said it's a turbonetics t26. i can't find jack online about a t26 turbo. from what i have found though it seems to be a t3 super 60... but i can't figure it out. if it is it's good for 325-350 hp. but can you help me figure out what turbo this is? also please tell me this:
-is this worth putting on the car? i don't want crazy power.just decent pull with quick spool.
-if i rotate it the right direction can i set it in stock position?
-it doesn't have a wg. what to do with that?

thanks guys

That might be a t62, not a t26. Those are for 500whp+.

hmmm... it was on a talon but the t3/t4 was an upgrade for him... it doesn't look much bigger than a vf39 though. **** if it's a t62 i'll buy the rotating kit ha ha well damn not on the 2.0 though.

youll need custom downpipe/uppipe/external wastegate and youll probably have to rotate it.

If you can fab stuff yourself it could be worth it, but I would say, fix it and sell it on the bay for like 600, then just get a bigger stock location turbo. Just my .02

did you call turbonetics? I did that when i had a turbo I needed to figure out the model. I gave the serial number on the rear of the housing you have pictured and they were able to give me all specifications about the specific turbo. good luck.
