Hmm.m.. Caravanning can be fun. I'm not sure if I'll make the caravan or not; depends on my schedule.

^jynx^:::It's almost a 3 hour trip to burlington, depending on how fast you are going. (I made it from Wapp Falls, NY to Boston in 2 hours, 40 minutes...)

It is a day trip, though a long one. I'll probably spend the night at my Parents house in North Andover, and visit some friends while I'm in the neighborhood.

Question

Hmmm, the 27th? I just might be able to make that one. Nothing better than 2 white RS's flying up to MA.

Steve- I might need to do some routine maintenance on my car, and maybe some mods soon. You know of any good mechanics in the area. (Hartford area or North CT)

Ya, mods that will help me beat you at the next auto-x!! Hell I might need a turbo to be able to do that!!!

you don't need mods to your own car to beat him. just buy a banana and stuff it up his exhaust. it's the cheapest "mod" by far that you can make to his car.

thank goodness no one can do that to me, as my exhaust is way too big to get clogged by just a banana, heh.

How about a ping pong ball in your gas tank Edwin?
Talk about crazy intermitant TEC-II/fuel pressure readings.

Bring on the ASPEN WHITE RS'S. I love that color. 10 hp at least...

Cool

Hey this is a good start. I thins we can have some sort of caravan!!!!
Bttune2.5rs your welcome to tag along. I think the more the marrier.
As for Subenutt I think your car is quite fast already, beat me though? Thats pushing it the banana trick could work, but you will need to BIG ones to fill the stromung tips. But seriously what kinda mods are you looking to do, I know an exceptionally good mechanic in bristol. I can give you his number. But first I need to know what your doing to your car so that I can see if he will do it. If its easy stuff I can do another garage day sometime if you want. Let me know.
Talk to you guys soon
Steve.
PS I am off to FLA this weekend YAHOOO!!!!! so the garage day would have to be after I come back.

bttune: No problem with joining the caravan, but for us to take 91 into Ma is the long way. Perhaps you could meet us at the rest area on 90 just east of the junction of 84?

Chuck A: It's about 1.5+ hours from Hartford to Burlington.

TTO,

If you and Pilot are heading up there from Stamford, let me know..I'll tag along. The 84 to 90 Route is much better than 91..for us.

Boom,

Good to see you posting again!

Mostly routine stuff. I'm coming up on 30K, so I want to do spark plugs and all fluids including radiator flush, diff fluids, fuel filter, mostly simple stuff. If you have the know how and the garage, I would really appreciate it! I'll bring the cold barly soup (beer to you rookies).

As far as spring mods, more of a wish list since I'm thinking of buying a home.... suspension (maybe Teins and AGX) and I'd like to hear the new HKS Super Drager exhaust. Leonardo is considering offering a group buy.

Have fun in Florida, no rush on the above.... you could let me know on the 27th.

bttuner??? Hey Longmeadow GUY!! I'm down the road in Enfield. Ya, I know, poor me. Maybe we can hook up with for the MA run on the 27th?

Subenutt, I can definatly do those little things pretty easily. The only thing I can see as a problem is the waste fluid. We will have to find a shop or something that would take the fluids. But I can definatly do another garage day anytime. I do have heat in the garage so thats no problem. Well talk to you later.

CBLOCK: Sure! When the date moves closer, I'll have a better feel for departure time. I figure a good meeting spot is the commuter lot at exit 35 just off the Merrit, on High Ridge.

bttune- I have seen your car, I think it's white?? You must work with those guys who have the nice civic hatch, del sol, and prelude??

I also drive a white 99RS. I work down the road at LEGO and live out in the Grassmere golf course area.

TTO,

Exit 35 is backtracking a bit..I catch the Meritt at Exit 40 or 41. How about the commuter lot off 41?

If ^jynx^ comes down, he'll probably catch up with us at the Junct of Rte7..which is exit 40.

Let's plan on meeting there at about 11-11:15 am.

Drive Smooth.
