Talking Subaru ONLY Track day: Denver

The last track day that we have scheduled for this season is Saturday November 7th at High Plains Raceway. This event is more expensive to put on, so the registration for this event will be $150.00 per car. This is one of the premier tracks in this region, and we hope that you can make it out to join us.

For this event, even though Subaru will be sponsoring the event, registration is open to all makes and models of car.

(Privately owned cars only please)

You must register for each driver that will be attending, so if two people want to share one car, you would need to register twice.

The format for this event will be a mix of the two events that we have previously done. There will be Go 4 It instructors present for the entirety of the event, but for the most part, this will be an open track day.

However, after we brake up into groups and have our drivers meeting in the morning, we will do one "Follow the Leader" exercise where everyone at the event will have the opportunity to follow behind an instructor's car for 2 laps to see the proper race line, and to get a feel for the track.

This track is much more technical than the State Patrol Track, so we want to make sure that everyone has a good feel for the track before we turn the run groups lose. Once we finish "Follow the Leader" in the morning, we will go imediatly to open track sessions for each group.

In regards to groups, there will be 3: Mellow, medium, and Agressive/Experienced.

We will allow people to chose which group they want to run with, but we may need to move some people to keep the groups even throughout the day. Also, because of the size of the track, we will likely allow larger run groups this time around because there should be plenty of space.

Each run group will have different passing protocal's in order for people to feel comfortable, with the Mellow group being the most strict. Remember that the goal for the day is to have fun, and to be able to find out what your car is capible of in a controlled environment. This is not a race, and no one is keeping times.

Lastly, because of the cost of putting on this event, we need to have 40 cars/drivers registered by September 15th to make this event happen. So if you have been planning on signing up, please do so as soon as possible, and please let other enthusiasts know about the event so that we can make this happen. We are pretty muchhalf way there, so it shouldn't to hard to find the cars that we need.

For the November 7th Driving School at High Plains Raceway, the field will be limited to 100 cars.

Registration for all of these events will be done through our web-site here.

As always, feel free to PM me with any questions, and we'll see you at the track.

November 7th High Plains Driving School - We have 22 cars signed up right now we need 40 by Sept 15th in order for this event to happen -

I know where it is, I just think your comment was VERY optimistic considering the other venues in the region.

the one out in utah (which is why I am sure he is talking **** to you) is quite good. Miller really is a world class facility. But if it wasnt for a multibillionaire building the track, utah wouldnt even have a third rate track.

And if parts of Colorado would have been more open to a motorsports part. Jacka$$.
High Plains is a sweet track. I will try to be out there, but IDK if I'm going to be driving.

We only need a few more sign ups to make this exclusive track day happen. We need them by Sept 15th...

This track day will be broken down into 3 driver groups:

1. Mellow Group
2. Mild Group
3. Aggressive Group

You choose which one to join and you can change throughout the day if you feel you need to.

Sign up is at the bottom of this Page:
