Default I think the tip might need to be cut off

So last week I was working on my car and my finger got pinched between the car and the jack when i was lowering it. I couldn't get it free right away and was stuck for ~5 minutes.
Its about a week later and the tip of my finger is a weird purple color and can't feel it too well. Going to the doc tomorrow and hope that the tip is still alive and no major problems.

What were you doing for 5 minutes while your finger was being crushed? Playing a game of solitaire?

I think you make a good point when you say it may need to be cut off.
